I'm at an academic conference and all I can think of is losing in GT6 online races...

Bummed I had to bail during the rally race - I was actually holding my own for once!

I got my copy of the game too late for the AMG Vision hack, so I've been slowing earning money and accumulating cars. Getting gold with the S2000 at the Matterhorn (and the $1mm+ prize) last night sure helps!

That's alright! I'll be hosting a room again tonight and you could try to come around again!

doing the seasonals definitely gets some money into the bank. If you've run out of seasonals to get money from, once you get your super license there are a number of endurance races to get large sums of money from. I rarely drive more than a few cars in this game so I'm usually never stressing for credits but when I need some I do the 24 minutes of nurburgring! A little over 300k in credits and with the 200% bonus, that changes to a little over 600k!

Thanks for the heads-up, but heading out for a long night on the town with my wife (doesn't happen too often anymore with three kids at home!).

Your and M_Dynamic's "lines" helped me out on that stage, by the way. Great tip on the 'Ring enduro - will have to check it out.

Cool! Have fun! :D

Also my line was terrible, I honestly hated the S2000 seasonal. I just got my gold and left because I don't perform too well on Matterhorn, and many other original tracks considering I am coming directly from GT4. My time at Matterhorn isn't even that great...on my own friends ranking I'm in the middle, half of the guys I've added here easily beat gold by 3-7 seconds.

That last downhill section is a bear - went off and/or spun lots of times there before I finally figured it out.

A friend of mine and I had a "Spa Challenge" between the two of us in GT5 - we'd agree on a PP and tires and then try to get the best single lap time there (clean, no "red" of course). Would be fun to do that with all the OPPO guys, where you'd have to post your time, car, mods and set-up every time you beat the best time.

Seems like a great idea! I could have done better, if I'd just learn Matterhorn. But I sincerely despise many of the original tracks.

What's your favorite in the game? And which do you think is best suited for the OPPO Time Trial Challenge, if not Spa?

In GT5, the C7 was so good out of the box that we used it as our baseline. So our PP limit was 525 and I think we stuck with Sports Hard (since that's OEM).

My favorite's been Tsukuba (sometimes Twin Ring Motegi Road Course). I think the best track for a time trial is one where lap time are in the 1:20 to 1:40 range.

If I were to stay biased, Tsukuba would be the answer for everything.
